Complicaciones y secuelas en los pacientes con antecedentes de covid 19

En la lucha contra la epidemia del Coronavirus (COVID-19), los pacientes con antecedentes de haber sufrido esta enfermedad pueden experimentar muchas complicaciones y padecer de algunas secuelas segíºn sean los diferentes casos, entre los cuales se pueden presentar también, problemas de salud mental tales como estrés, ansiedad, síntomas depresivos, insomnio, negación, ira, temor y tener síntomas físicos específicos y una percepción pobre de la propia salud. Todavía no se sabe mucho acerca de cómo la COVID-19 afectaró a las personas a lo largo del tiempo, pero la investigación estó en curso. Los investigadores recomiendan que los médicos controlen de cerca a las personas que tuvieron COVID-19 para ver cómo funcionan sus órganos luego de la recuperación. La pandemia plantea pues el desafío de cuidar la salud de la población general.Citas
