Más allá de la norma: Un enfoque integrador sobre la neurodivergencia en el siglo XXI

El término "neurodivergencia" ha evolucionado de un concepto nicho a un pilar fundamental en la comprensión de la diversidad humana. Este artículo científico propone un enfoque integrador que trasciende la visión patológica tradicional, reconociendo la neurodivergencia (que incluye, entre otros, el espectro autista, el TDAH, la dislexia y la dispraxia) como una variación natural del desarrollo neurológico. Se discuten los avances recientes en neurociencia cognitiva y genética que respaldan esta perspectiva. Además, se analiza la imperiosa necesidad de implementar modelos sociales, educativos y laborales que no solo acomoden, sino que activamente valoren y capitalicen las fortalezas y perspectivas únicas que ofrecen las mentes neurodivergentes, promoviendo así una sociedad verdaderamente inclusiva en el Siglo XXI.
